Technical modules
The main topics covered in the training materials related to technological aspects of energy storage & sector coupling in an urban context are:
M1: Heat system: energy storage & sector coupling
M2: Electric system: energy storage & sector coupling
M3: Emerging technologies & sector coupling applications
M4: Use cases and good practice examples
The materials are partly summarizing existing knowledge inputs and training materials from former projects. As the focus on energy storage and sector coupling is an innovative topic in trainings, all the identified missing training contents were developed in a transnational cooperation of experts from project partner organisations.
Modules 1 – 3 were developed using existing materials from other projects and by collecting and studying available materials on energy storage and sector coupling. Input here was provided also by the materials developed within WPT2 – Model solutions.
Module 4 on practical use cases was developed using the collection of best practice cases within WPT1 – Regional action plans and transnational roadmap
