Capacity building

The CSSC Lab capacity building programme covers different types of training activities such as basic and advanced trainings, bilateral city coachings and webinars. The trainings aim to enable cities in the Danube area to develop, assess & prioritise CSSC projects based on their own capacities and knowledge and to ensure the sustainable implementation of CSSC solutions.

By implementing different sets of trainings (basic, advanced, coaching), the project aims at creating a continuous level of interaction between PPs & regional cities in order to facilitate the way the development of concrete replication projects in target cities based on project results.

TTrainings will be implemented by the partnership addressing municipality representatives and further city actors working in the different expertise fields in relation to the urban energy systems (city administrations, utilities, energy projects developers etc.).

Basic (2 per region) and advanced (1 per region) trainings will address two main target groups which are institutional intermediaries like energy agencies at different governance Levels and municipalities themselves like technical experts from infrastructure departments of local municipalities.

Thematic Webinars (2 in total) will be used as an additional channel to involve interested participants from a wider scope of cities and further interested regions. City Coaching sessions (2 per region) will allow municipalities to develop their concrete implementation Projects with support from Project Partners ‘experts.
